The South African Callanetics Programme is based on the anatomically correct use of the body. Intensive pelvic floor activation and optimal lengthening of the body, changes the posture. The success is in the three-dimensional rotational movements, deep muscle layer training, dynamic stretching and relaxation. Joints become supple and flexibility improves. Training the intelligent way whilst still having fun.

Callanetics, originally developed by Callan Pinckney in the USA, and her forerunner, Lotte Berk in England, is further developed in close cooperation with doctors and specialists for movement coordination. Formulated according to the most modern knowledge of anatomy. Trained instructors regularly attend workshops to keep up to date – for your safety.

Coordinated movements, tiny repetitive pulses, isolated and activated core muscle layers will efficiently, gently and powerfully activate muscle cells and build strength whilst dynamic stretching of muscles make them toned and flexible.

Safety of your back and joints is of utmost importance, working in harmony with your body’s anatomy, your spinal column dictates the optimum position. Trained instructors guide you, in small groups with not more than 12 participants.
